The regular bag will have all our favorite staples: Bezner Beef rib-eyes for four, farm-fresh potatoes, seasonings, a jar of salsa, a tea towel, a sleeve of custom designed styrofoam cups, and the cooler bag! Morgan wants to encourage any kids or even adults to find a dream and work hard to accomplish it. Morgan has always admired the XIT traditions that the XIT rodeo upholds such as the empty saddle before the rodeo starts. Morgan has also enjoyed representing XIT at the Cowboy Classic in Dumas and the Christmas Parade in Stratford. She has read to the Stratford Elementary Kindergarten class before Christmas. She loves representing XIT in multiple establishments. She enjoys checking cattle and branding the calves as well. Her family runs a small herd of cattle as well as sheep. She is currently placed in the top 10 in her region with the poles. As well as doing Young Guns, She has started competing in Texas High School Rodeo in Region 1. She is also competing in the JRCA in barrels, poles, and starting on her journey in breakaway roping. She has recently started competing in the Young Guns Extravaganza in Dodge City on a new pole horse, Pepper. As well as running barrels and poles, she also competes in sorting competitions on her three year old, Cat. She was able to win the pole bending for that year with her pole horse Heather.

She was also an ambassador for the local riding club, Silver Spurs Rodeo Club, for three years. She started running barrels in the local riding club when she was around 9 years old.

She taught Morgan all about how to become comfortable riding and competing on horseback. This year Morgan’s Vet Science team was one spot away from advancing to the state competition Morgan’s first horse was named Jemma. She also served as the secretary in the Stratford FFA officer team and she has qualified for area in multiple competitions. She competed in LDE, CDE, and SDE competitions in the FFA. Morgan had a strong love for playing in the marching band and served as the head drum major in the Big Blue Band. She enjoys showing pigs and goats, running barrels, poles, and breakaway. Then after taking her basics at OPSU, Morgan will transfer to OSU to pursue a degree in Ag business and a minor in ranch management. She is planning on graduating early from high school and enrolling in OPSU. She is now enrolled in a homeschool program, Acellus. She was an incoming junior at Stratford High School. She has two other sisters Kaytly and Ellie. Morgan Clift is the 17-year old daughter of Bryan and Jana Clift.
